EXFOLIATE + MOISTURE = GLOW

EXFOLIATE + MOISTURE = GLOW

Beauties, as of today, we are four days away from spring and this is the perfect time of year to begin prepping our skin for the best summer glow. Who doesn't want glowing, beautiful skin for summer? Here at Nidasii we have a formula, and if you've been with us for a while you might be familiar with our formula

EXFOLIATE + MOISTURE = GLOW

For starters, we need to begin by removing all dead skin with a good exfoliant. Please keep in mind the exfoliant noted in this post is a physical exfoliant not intended for use on the face. Most of the Beauties here in the Nidasii office love a good sugar scrub and we love a good DIY. In fact one of the office fav's is the avocado sugar scrub it's a quick and effective DIY that delivers amazing results. Avocado oil and granulated sugar is always a great combo! We love avocado oil because it's super hydrating and nourishing. When the oil and sugar are massaged all over the body (arms, legs, back, belly) the end result is amazingly smooth, glowing skin. In fact, our body butter jars are a great way to re-purpose and re-use if you decide to give this or any oil based DIY body scrub a try.

Now that we have completed the first step, exfoliating the skin, it's time to focus on moisturizing it. Moisturizing the skin is so important because it serves two purposes. Nourishing and sealing in moisture. Now, I always recommend applying any moisturizer to damp skin immediately after a shower when pores are open and skin is prepped to absorb moisture. On the days that you exfoliate your skin it's best to apply your moisturizer immediately following a shower. Not only is your skin prepped to absorb moisture, now that the layers of dead skin have been removed  the moisturizer has the ability to penetrate into the deepest layers of the skin which allows it to retainmoisture much longer. Now that you have thoroughly exfoliated and moisturized your skin the only left to do is G L O W ! ! !
